Position Summary:
The Catering Event Manager will oversee all aspects of event catering, with a focus on weddings and corporate functions. This role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at client relations, and has a sharp eye for detail. You’ll lead a team of professionals to plan and execute events that exceed client expectations—from the first tasting to the final toast.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for wedding and corporate clients, ensuring clear communication and excellent service throughout the event planning process.
- Develop and manage catering proposals, contracts, and timelines.
- Coordinate with culinary, service, and operations teams to ensure event logistics are flawless.
- Manage staffing, vendor coordination and event execution.
Qualifications:
- Experience in catering, event planning, or hospitality management.
- Proven track record with weddings and/or corporate events is a must.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
- Flexible schedule – weekend and evening availability is required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
