About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. This role requires expertise in GCP, AWS, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines to support our development teams.
What You'll Do:
- Implement IAM roles and policies for secure cloud access on AWS and GCP.
- Manage storage solutions to safeguard sensitive credentials.
- Configure firewalls, WAF, and security groups to enforce network security policies.
- Design and manage VPCs, subnets, routing, and peering across AWS and GCP.
- Optimize and monitor EC2, ECS (Fargate), EKS, and GCP Compute Instances for performance and cost efficiency.
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Terraform (must-have) and Pulumi (preferable).
- Enforce infrastructure versioning and compliance best practices.
- Develop and maintain GitHub Actions pipelines to automate deployments and testing.
- Manage GitHub repository permissions and enforce security best practices.
- Implement monitoring solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry (OTEL).
- Set up alerting and logging for cloud resources to ensure system reliability.
- Manage EKS clusters with Kyverno admission controller, Karpenter, and FluxCD GitOps. (Plus )
- Optimize containerized workloads and implement scaling strategies. (Plus )
- Manage PostgreSQL permissions, replication, and high availability. (Plus )
- Configure and optimize Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration. (Plus )
What You Have:
- Strong experience in AWS and GCP cloud infrastructure.
- Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
- Knowledge of networking, security, and IAM policies in cloud environments.
- Experience with GitHub Actions and repository management.
- Proficiency in monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and OTEL.
Nice To Have:
- Experience with EKS and Kubernetes workload management.
- Knowledge of Pulumi for Infrastructure as Code.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL administration and replication.
- Exposure to Apache Airflow for workflow automation.
