Attleboro Public Schools seeks an experienced principal to lead the largest comprehensive high school in the Commonwealth. Candidates must have a proven record of leading teams of educators in maintaining a focus on high expectations for student learning while navigating the dynamic challenges of operating an immensely complicated school.
Qualifications:
- Certification as principal in Massachusetts
- Minimum of three years of experience as a principal
- Demonstrated leadership skills in staff, curriculum, and program development:
- Supervision and leadership of a team of administrators
- Establishing, promoting, and executing a shared vision and purpose
- Fostering and promoting a culturally proficient environment
- Setting and meeting high instructional expectations for staff and students
- Ensuring all school community members share in a strong sense of belonging
- Lead the development of innovative and effective models of instruction
- Developing family, community, and business partnerships
- Listening/communicating with various stakeholders
- Management of scarce resources
- Recruit, hire, and retain high-performing employees
