The duties that the incumbent of the vacancy will be expected to perform. Duties Description Under the direction of an Information Technology Specialist 4, SG25, the Information Technology Specialist 3, SG23, will work on the Web Development Team of the Information Technology Bureau, located in Latham, NY.DUTIES: • Engage with stakeholders to understand needs of the organization so that they may be fulfilled in the newly designed system. • Develop Intranet/employee Center development and design. • Collaborate and coordinate with executive staff and other OAG stakeholders on intranet modernization-related projects. • Provide support to OAG staff on the current and future intranet, including troubleshooting, monitoring issues, and supplemental training. • Provide technical expertise to project staff. • Work collaboratively with business partners and other internal IT units. • Ensure security and compliance of the new system. • Develop and program new responsive and accessible intranet features or enhancements.• Design, organize, create, and update web content.• Develop technical documentation to support agency needs. • Other duties as assigned.
