Job Description:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Solar/Electric Inspection Coordinator to join our Lehi office. This role involves supporting our solar and electrical teams by coordinating inspections, managing documentation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the renewable energy field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate solar and electrical inspections with local jurisdictions, customers, and field teams.
- Assist in preparing and submitting permits and documentation under the guidance of senior team members.
- Track and manage inspection progress, ensuring all requirements are met for project completion.
- Communicate with city and county offices to confirm inspection processes and resolve any issues.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, approvals, and project timelines.
- Provide administrative support to project managers and other departments as needed.
- Stay updated on permitting and compliance requirements in Utah.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding inspection status and processes.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in construction management, electrical engineering, or renewable energy is a plus.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and a willingness to learn new software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Interest in the solar/renewable energy industry.
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with administrative tasks, scheduling, or customer service.
- Familiarity with construction, permitting, or solar projects is a plus.
