The Department of Biological and Earth Science invites applications for the position of a 9-month tenure track Assistant Professor of Biology. We are seeking broadly trained biologist to complement our existing faculty, teach both undergraduate general biology courses and upper division courses focused on anatomy, physiology, and histology, mentor undergraduate Biology majors, develop an undergraduate based research program, and provide service to the department and the institution. Our department currently consists of 20 full and part-time faculty that administer three B.S. degrees (Biology, Fisheries & Wildlife Science, and Geosciences) and one M.S. degree (Fisheries & Wildlife Science). Applicants must hold an earned Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field.
