Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Healthcare Professional for Sports to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a health-related field and current BOC Certification or be examination eligible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site athletic training services for assigned schools during regular season, tournament, and post-season events
- Follow the Scope of Practice set forth by the State of New Mexico
- Have a valid first aid and CPR card
- Follow physician's orders when treating athletic injuries, provide emergency care and basic first aid
- Record all injuries daily on a treatment chart, write an injury report on all athletic injuries requiring student athletic insurance or parent insurance
- Be responsible for record keeping of all documents and use an EMR application to communicate effectively with other Certified Athletic Trainers
