What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Field Intern position at Atwell, LLC?
Atwell is searching for a part-time intern to work as an Environmental Field Technician at our client sites. We expect the intern to be available to work between 15 and 25 hours per week beginning in December until May.
Responsibilities:
- Perform eagle nest monitoring and protection work.
- Conduct fieldwork in inclement conditions and be comfortable with typical outdoor elements.
- Utilize GPS devices and digital cameras.
- Follow all Atwell safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources, Wildlife Management, Wildlife Biology, or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently and interact professionally with project managers, clients, and technicians.
- Experience with Excel and file-sharing websites.
