As a Title Agent, you will be responsible for conducting title research, obtaining property records, and ensuring the accuracy of land-related documentation. You will work directly with our team to gather necessary information for land acquisitions and easement projects.

• Conduct thorough title research at the local courthouse and online databases to gather necessary property information, including deeds, legal descriptions, and ownership history.


• Pull and organize relevant documents, such as deeds, easements, and other public records, to support land transactions.


• Verify property boundaries and ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and up-to-date.


• Communicate with property owners, legal professionals, and internal teams to gather additional information as needed.


• Maintain detailed records of research findings and document retrieval efforts.


• Assist with the preparation of reports and summaries related to property titles and deeds.


• Follow up on any discrepancies or issues found during title research to ensure a smooth land acquisition process.


• Adhere to all company and legal standards regarding confidentiality and data management.

Qualifications:

• Active LLC required for independent contractor status.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in title projects, or related fields like residential, commercial, telecommunications, or oil & gas.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment.


• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Additional Information:

• This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not eligible for benefits.


• Mileage will be reimbursed in accordance with company policy.


• No per diem on this project.


• Project is located one hour north of Lubbock.
