Atwell is seeking a Structural Designer to join our talented team in the Dallas / Houston area. We are looking for a candidate who has a strong work ethic, reliable, highly self-motivated, and can manage multiple projects with varying deadlines. Experience with industrial duct work, concrete, and structural steel construction, with a strong focus using Autodesk Inventor is preferred.
Roles and Responsibilities
Implement structural design information from Professional Engineer.Develop construction documents that included plans, details, and sections.Revise plans as redlined and thoroughly coordinate all sheets that are affected by any changes.Periodic field inspections to measure / map out structural framing.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and still ensure established deadlines are met.Manage, update, and organize base details files for future ease of use.Job Requirements :
Associate's degree in Mechanical or Structural Drafting & Design Technology or a related field. (preferred)Knowledge of plans and construction drawings.Fluency in Autodesk Inventor (2021, 2022, or 2023) is required.3-Years' minimum experience using AutoCAD an / or CadWorx.Work well under time constraints.Service-oriented mindset.Experience in using Microsoft Office products.Willingness to learn, have strong organizational and analytical skills.Self-motivated; take pride in work and accepts responsibility for his / her professionalism.Excellent collaborative and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.LI-TK1
