Accountant II – Accounts Receivable

About the Role:
We’re looking for an Accountant II – Accounts Receivable to manage tenant and HOA accounts, ensure accurate financial transactions, and oversee collections. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity while collaborating with internal teams and residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable Management – Process payments, rent charges, security deposit refunds, and resolve account discrepancies.
- Tenant & HOA Billing – Oversee billing, assessments, collections, and ensure account accuracy.
- Collections & Compliance – Monitor delinquencies, process collections, and support legal proceedings.
- Financial Reconciliation – Review and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy.
- Collaboration & Communication – Work with tenants, property managers, and public housing agencies to resolve account concerns.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Previous accounts receivable experience in a professional setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel (pivot tables).
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Preferred:
- Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or a related field.
- Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software.
