Position Overview
Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented property management professional? As a Community Association Manager at Atwood, you’ll play a vital role in overseeing community operations and fostering strong, trusting relationships with HOA boards, residents, and vendors. This full-time role requires a blend of strategic thinking, proactive communication, and operational know-how to ensure every community in your portfolio feels valued and supported.
Key Responsibilities
- Management: Maintain property management policies, oversee outsourced functions, and manage HOA and commercial portfolio operations.
- Financial Oversight: Ensure timely processing of accounts payable and receivable, manage budgets, monitor cash flow, and provide financial analysis.
- Association Liaison: Act as the primary contact for HOA Boards, communicate with members, enforce HOA rules, and oversee vendor relationships.
- Meetings & Reporting: Coordinate and facilitate HOA meetings, prepare budgets and reports, and assist in capital planning and special assessments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience (property management experience preferred)
- Preferred certifications: Certified Property Manager (CPM), Association Management Specialist (AMS), Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM)
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong computer skills
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends
Location & Salary Hybrid Remote (MN); $55,000 - $65,000/year; Occasional travel to Mankato, MN (1-3 times per month).
