Atwoods a fast-growing farm & home retailer seeks Retail Store Manager for our New stores in Brownwood (Early) Texas! Candidates will need excellent customers skills, a positive can-do spirit and big box retail experience. Preferred experience in retail management, supervision, sales, material movement, inventory receiving and safety. This safety sensitive position requires that you be able to pass a forklift certification test and operate a forklift. Safety footwear is required. Ag experience a plus. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily retail operations, ensuring efficient inventory management and customer service excellence.
- Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment and promoting employee orientation.
- Manage purchasing and stock levels, utilizing POS systems for accurate sales tracking.
- Implement marketing strategies to boost sales and enhance customer engagement.
- Conduct interviews and assist in recruiting efforts to build a skilled team.
- Maintain financial records, including payroll and bookkeeping tasks, to ensure operational efficiency.
