We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Assembly Line Worker to join our production team at a leading manufacturer of premium desserts. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the efficient and accurate assembly of dessert products in a cold storage environment. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented team player who thrives in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled setting.
Schedule : You will work 3 days a week working 12-13 hour days Monday - Friday.
Key Responsibilities :
Product Assembly :
Assemble, package, and label dessert products on the production line according to established guidelines.
Ensure desserts are properly assembled, portioned, and placed in appropriate packaging to meet quality and safety standards.
Cold Storage Operations :
Work efficiently in a cold storage environment, maintaining comfort and focus in temperatures typically between [range of temperatures].
Handle frozen or chilled ingredients and finished products as needed while ensuring that all items are maintained at the correct temperature to preserve product quality.
Quality Control :
Inspect finished products for any defects, irregularities, or quality issues, ensuring that only high-quality items are packaged.
Report any quality or safety concerns to the production supervisor immediately.
Equipment Handling :
Operate assembly line machinery, such as conveyors, packaging machines, and labeling devices, in accordance with safety and operational guidelines.
Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of equipment as required.
Inventory and Stock Management :
Assist in tracking raw materials and finished products to ensure that the production line is consistently stocked.
Monitor product quantities and alert supervisors when supplies are running low or require reordering.
Safety and Hygiene Compliance :
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including wearing proper protective gear (e.G., gloves, hairnets, aprons) as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe environment for team members and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Team Collaboration :
Work closely with other production team members to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Participate in team meetings and provide feedback for improving production efficiency and product quality.
Qualifications : Experience :
Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly line environment is preferred, particularly in the food production or dessert manufacturing industry.
Experience working in a cold storage or refrigerated environment is a plus.
Skills and Abilities :
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to quality standards.
Strong manual dexterity and the ability to handle delicate or intricate tasks with precision.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.

Ability to lift up to 35lbs pounds regularly and perform repetitive tasks.
