About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cook/Dishwasher to join our team at AtWork Group. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and marinating meats
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality of dishes
- Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, and fryers
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Assist with receiving and storing food supplies
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices
- A happy and positive attitude
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
