Production Technician
Job Summary
Support the construction of rechargeable batteries in a production environment. Assemble
prototype nickel zinc and zinc air batteries. Fabricate electrodes and cell components following
a detailed recipe and process sheet. Follow strict safety protocols. Record and track production
data throughout the production process.
Job Responsibilities
Fabricate battery electrodes and build prototype battery cells
Weigh chemicals according to a detailed recipe
Collect manufacturing data
Execute QC controls
Work well in a team
Adhere to all safety protocols
Wear all required PPE to include full face respirator, full body suit, and gloves
Job Requirements
Hands on experience in battery production (nickel- and / or zinc-experience preferred)
Organized, tidy, and capable of keeping a clean workspace
Attention to detail
Hard working
Ability to do precise repetitive work while still paying attention to detail
Strong hands-on fabrication skills.
Enthusiasm for advanced battery development
Knowledge and commitment to diligent safety practices
Excellent communication skills
Precision machining, construction, crafts, sawing, or production background preferred
