What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerospace Quality Inspector position at AtWork Personnel Services?
Our client is a global corporation that designs, develops, and manufactures engines, systems, and other aerospace and military equipment.Inspects, audits, and reports on materials, processes, and products used in constructing aircraft interiors using variable or attribute measuring instruments and techniques to ensure conformance with the company’s quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming products to ensure proper paperwork is received and parts conform to specifications, engineering, and purchase orders.
- In-process inspection of parts being manufactured.
- Interpreted and read engineering drawings and company and customer specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
- Reject and control non-conforming products.
- Verify rework is correctly performed per instructions.
- Perform Mechanical/Physical tests with lab equipment.
- Work with Engineers, Supervisors, and Production personnel to ensure that measuring and testing equipment is within calibration.
- Perform process audits as needed
Skills:
- Speak/read/write English proficiently and have Legible handwriting/printing.
- Use precision measuring instruments.
- Reading engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical literature is preferred.
- Must be able to pass drug testing and background checking
- 2 years relevant, steady work history is preferred, manufacturing is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
