Responsibilities :

Account Reconciliations and Financial Analysis

  • Conduct account reconciliations and deliver comprehensive financial analyses to support retail banking operations.

Process Improvement

  • Develop, recommend, and implement enhancements to accounting processes tailored to retail banking needs.

    • Special Projects

  • Lead ad hoc analyses and manage special projects, addressing complex issues specific to retail banking.

    • Problem Resolution

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve accounting or financial process issues affecting branch operations.

    • Variance Analysis

  • Review financial reports, investigate variances, and identify trends impacting branch performance.

    • Budget Support

  • Create spreadsheets, projections, and tools to facilitate annual and quarterly budget planning.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail banking or a related field.
  • Advanced understanding of financial and accounting practices, with expertise in retail banking operations.
  • Proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, ERP systems) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

  • Capability to import, format, and analyze large datasets from diverse sources.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities for process efficiency and accuracy improvements.
