What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at AtWork Personnel?
AtWork Personnel is currently in search of a Senior Accountant with a CPA, CGMA or CIA for a Henderson, Nevada Manufacturer. This position will report to the Controller and assist with tactical accounting as well as assist with complex accounting projects. Cost Accounting, GAAP, Tax and Audit experience will be key. Solid financial reporting, communication and presentation skills are critical to be successful in this role. Oracle Experience required. Full On-site role.
Compensation: 75-80K Plus Generous Compensation Package including 401K/Match, Holidays, PTO, Medical, Dental, Vision
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and report weekly, monthly, and quarterly gross margins, and assist in month-end closing and inventory.
- Make recommendations based on analysis and status of reserves, assets and expenditures.
- Assist with financial and tax audits.
- Reconciliations, Variances, Accruals
- Document and monitor internal controls in support of auditing team.
- Coordinate complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.
Qualifications:
- 4 Year Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- CPA, CGMA, or CIA
- 5- 8 Progressive work history within Accounting & Finance
- Oracle
- Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods Experience
- Able to work well independently as well as in a Team Environment
