Production Control II is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, informing, and recording the flow of material through manufacturing departments and communicating the program's overall health. This position coordinates with all departments to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer on time.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the accuracy of the Bill of Material (BOM).Works with the Planning Department to ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system generates the proper schedule for production control I.Manages overall project part shortages.Works with Purchasing and Manufacturing exceptions.Works with engineering to draw releases and make design improvements.Works with the Spares Department for pricing and lead times.Reviews Material Review Board (MRB) and coordinates with the required departments to resolve the issue.Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production.Involved in improving lean product flow.Informs shipping, store, quality, and program management of project details.SkillsAbility to communicate well with others, both verbally and in written formatProven ability to troubleshoot / problem-solve.Occasional lifting of up to 35 pounds.Possesses a technical aptitude.Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.Primarily office work- approximately 90%; Manufacturing work- approximately 10%Must be able to pass Background check & Drug TestMinimum of two years relevant experience in an aerospace production environment. Vocational and technical schooling preferred.
