The Position :
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Event Design Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our sales team by designing event technology concepts, creating high-quality renderings, and building quotes to support incoming project requests. The ideal candidate will leverage their theoretical expertise in sound, lighting, video, rigging, and internet to help each opportunity achieve the unique objectives to win the business. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge, creativity, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand client needs and event requirements.
- Develop innovative and tailored event technology concepts that meet client specifications and budget constraints.
- Utilize industry knowledge to suggest optimal solutions for sound, lighting, video, rigging, and internet needs.
- High-Quality Renderings
Create detailed and visually appealing 3D renderings and mock-ups to illustrate event concepts and setups.
Provide comprehensive knowledge of event technology equipment, including sound systems, lighting fixtures, video displays, rigging components, and internet solutions to build quotes in Flex inventory management system.
Present event technology concepts and renderings to clients, clearly explaining technical details and the benefits of proposed solutions.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Technical Theater, Audio-Visual Technology, or a related field preferred.
Expert level proficiency in Vectorworks, Capture or other 3D event rendering software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
