Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Psych to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on mental health assessments, treatment planning, and patient support. This role requires a strong understanding of psychiatric nursing practices and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.

Duties

• RN Psych Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and physical examinations.
• RN Psych Monitor vital signs and document changes in patient conditions.
• RN Psych Administer medications as prescribed and educate patients about their treatment plans.
• RN Psych Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• RN Psych Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing acute psychiatric episodes.
• RN Psych Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner.
• RN Psych Assist with phlebotomy procedures when necessary.
• RN Psych Stay informed about workers' compensation laws as they pertain to mental health treatment.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance nursing skills.

Requirements-

• Minimum 1 year of experience
• RN License NY
• BLS certificate
• COVID vaccination
