We are hiring for the 5am-1pm shift.

Reporting to our Maintenance Manager, we are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our expanding team! Your role will be pivotal in upholding the smooth functioning of our production processes. Your responsibilities will revolve around the upkeep and repair of our facility and equipment. By applying your expertise, you'll be instrumental in maintaining the top-notch quality standards and safety protocols that are integral to our operations. Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks, inspections, and repairs on production machinery, processing equipment, and facility systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.

Complete preventative maintenance schedules and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Perform calibration and adjustments on equipment to maintain accuracy and consistency in production processes.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions.

Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.

Perform peer-to-peer inspections on work performed by our other maintenance technicians

Read blueprints and survey structures on grounds.

Act as on-call handyman when needed.

A successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school OR 4 years of experience in equipment installation, repair and maintenance

Completion of an apprenticeship under a professional maintenance technician a plus

Experience with technology maintenance required

Experience working in a food manufacturing environment a plus

Thorough working knowledge of facility equipment units, their usage, and safety procedures

Strong critical thinking and creative skills

Detail oriented and organized

Ability to manage time and complete work with minimal supervision

Must have a flexible schedule

Current documentation that you are legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Physical Demands:

• Medium - Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Ability to stand for a long period of time as well as raise and move up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to walk, lift, carry, grasp, bend, climb stairs and ladders, reach, and kneel. Must be willing to work flexible hours and flexible shifts.
