- Position - RN - Rehab Unit
- Location -Rochester, NY
- Contract - 13 Weeks with possible extension.
- Shift -Straight Nights, 3x12 and 4x12 also available
- Hours/Week - 36 and 48 hours GTD
- Holidays and weekends per unit policy.
Requirements,
- Required BSN
- 2 years Med Surg experience
- NYS RN
- AHA BLS required,
- Telemetry Experience Required
- PALS/ PEARS .e
Exciting opportunity to work with our interdisciplinary team caring for a wide variety of patients including Stroke, Brain Injury, SCI, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neuro, Oncology, Pediatric, Solid Organ Transplant, Heart Failure and other medically complex patients. This opportunity will train you to offer clinical and emotional encouragement to patients and their families while they gain back independence. Recent pediatric experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including catheterization, IV insertion, and tube feeding as needed.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs in telemetry settings.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document patient progress.
- Ensure adherence to basic life support (BLS) protocols and maintain certifications.
- Educate patients and families on health management and recovery strategies.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $2,500.00 - $2,700.00 per week
