Description:
- Understanding of how to build “zero-trust” using Vault for mutual TLS and cross cloud gateways
- Leading teams in “infrastructure-as-code” using Terraform with Ansible or Salt (experience with Terraform Enterprise or Cloud a plus)
- Working with a service mesh and how to enable canary/blue-green to expedite delivery and embrace change
- Experience using the strangler pattern via reverse proxy and supporting distributed systems (Envoy a bonus)
- Solid understand of DNS, TCP, CDN, VCP and the rest of modern networking and security architectures
- Opinionated in regards to monitoring, tracing, and logging and how to roll out SaaS solutions like DataDog vs build-your-own with Prometheus
- Deep experience with one cloud platform and understanding of the others
- Expertise in bridging public and private cloud environments
- Aligning build, test, and deploy processes to enable shift-left and fail-early strategies
- Experience working with global companies with an understanding of related data, compliance, and security concerns
- Expertise in related technologies like working like monitoring tools to create a single pane of glass for management and development teams.
- Experience with AWS or GCP.
- Experience with App Migration, platform engineering, AI/ML and data.
