What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shipper/Receiver position at AU Dispatch?
We’re currently looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Shipper/Receiver to help manage the daily flow of goods in and out of our facility. If you take pride in staying organized and enjoy working with a reliable, hardworking team—this could be the perfect fit for you!
Key Responsibilities:
Receive Deliveries – Inspect incoming shipments, verify contents, and report discrepancies
Prepare Outgoing Shipments – Pack, label, and process orders for on-time delivery
Inventory Support – Organize stock, assist with cycle counts, and log inventory updates
Use Equipment Safely – Operate pallet jacks, scanners, and other tools (training provided)
Team Collaboration – Work closely with team members to maintain smooth operations
Workplace Safety – Keep your station clean, organized, and hazard-free
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, not required)
Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience is a plus
Able to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physically active tasks
Basic computer or scanner skills for inventory tracking
Attention to detail and strong organizational habits
Positive attitude and ability to work independently or with a team
Good communication skills and a proactive approach
