Job Details
Registered Nurses provide quality nursing services by working with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patients care and by providing a positive, supportive environment.
Participate in performance improvement initiatives; maintain professional competence; develop others; uphold confidentiality, safety, and professional standards; and support Shared Governance through service on councils or sponsored activities.
Job Requirements
2 years nursing experience
ADN, BSN, OR BA / BS with MSN
Current Registered Nursing License (Georgia) or qualifying multi-state compact license
Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire
Schedule Information
Day shift (0700-1730, 0700-1530, and 0900-1730)
Call is required One week every 5-6 weeks
Unit Specific Information
11 Prep / Recovery rooms
2 IR procedure rooms
1 procedure room in prep / recovery area
1 neuro / angio procedure room
1 CT procedure room
Nurse to patient ratio : 1 : 1 in procedures and up to 3 : in prep and recovery areas
Dress Code : Hospital laundered scrubs
