Job Description
We are currently seeking an Accounting Clerk dedicated to meeting the needs of our managers and employees by providing swift and accurate service in a professional manner. In this role, you will perform a diverse set of accounting duties following established company policies and procedures.
Service Excellence : Deliver exceptional service to managers and employees by responding promptly and accurately to their needs.
Accounting Operations : Execute a variety of accounting tasks, including daily revenue audits, daily revenue and labor reporting, posting relevant entries in accounting, point of sale, and property management systems, accounts receivable billing and accounts payable support.
Documentation and Reporting : Prepare reports and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Adherence to Policies : Follow established company policies and procedures while performing accounting duties.
Flexibility : Undertake additional accounting tasks as required to support the smooth operation of financial processes.
Pay Range is $25 - $27 an hour
Qualifications
- Strong Excel and reconciliation skills
- Strong accounting aptitude and related audit skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to work with others while creating positive relationships on behalf of the company
- Proficiency in computers and information technology
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Hospitality accounting experience a plus
