The targeted compensation range for this full time year round, exempt position is $95,00 to $110,000 The position offers a competitive compensation package presented by Auberge Resorts Collection.

Job Description

Lead our engineering team and oversee all aspects of the engineering and maintenance operations for the property.  Play a key role in ensuring the appearance, functionality and integrity of the property are optimized while implementing strategies that support efficiency and sustainability.  

• Focus on providing efficient service that contributes to meaningful guest experiences and maintains the physical assets at their highest level.
• Emphasis on planning, organizing and directing activities that are concerned with the maintenance structures, facilities and systems.
• Mentor and inspire a team of engineers fostering a culture of accountability, excellence and proactive maintenance practices.
• Plan and manage engineering projects, including renovations, upgrades, new installations, Capital Expenditures and the HOA Reserve plan
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs during both operating seasons and both off seasons, to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment, hotel and residential products.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Develop and manage the engineering department budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and appropriate allocations to the HOA and corresponding departments.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues by the standards set forth by the property and ARC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of seven years’ experience as a Chief Engineer in a hospitality field.
• Proven leadership, management and administrative skills.
• Successful management of key talent and culture processes to include recruiting, performance management and team and culture development.
• Extensive knowledge of building trades and overall mechanics of building operations and maintenance.
