We are currently seeking Maintenance Staff to provide repairs and maintenance of the physical structure, equipment and grounds of all Auberle sites. This individual must be a quick learner and is required to learn additional skills as necessary. Auberle offers training and learning experiences for all that it serves. Several individuals participate in various maintenance projects, construction projects, lawn care/landscape projects and related learning/training activities.
Key Objectives of the Role:
- Basic knowledge and experience in carpentry, plumbing, electricity, painting, carpet installation, lawn care/landscape, mechanical tasks and related maintenance duties.
- Requires participating in the on-call rotation and working occasional evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Serve as a mentor and be willing to work with individuals that have an interest in learning maintenance-related skills and who will be performing job shadowing or work experience with the Maintenance Staff.
Qualifications
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain pre-employment Act 33/34 clearances (criminal and child abuse) as well as FBI clearance
- Desire to work in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
- Strong relationship building skills
- A valid driver’s license and proof of insurance and car registration is mandatory
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be 21 years of age or older
