Independent Living Services Coach for Transition Age Youth

Youth aging out of the foster care system is a critical population in our society that has suffered from poor outcomes. Crawford County Human Services (CCHS) selected Auberle to administer service delivery for youth with foster care experience as they are transitioning to adulthood, that are ages 14-22.
We are currently seeking an Independent Living Services Coach to build strong, consistent relationships with youth and young adults, understand their needs, goals, and aspirations. Coaches support participants as they transition to adulthood to ensure that their needs are met, and their goals are achieved. You will work alongside the participant as they navigate community services to achieve their goals. You will collaborate with partners and services provided at the drop-in center and in the community to enhance engagement and success. Coaches travel to young people in their communities to provide supports and opportunities.
This position requires:
- High School Diploma and 2 years of experience working with youth, Associate's degree and 1 year of experience working with youth, or Bachelor's degree and a preferred one year of experience working with youth. Different combinations of education and experience will be evaluated (Special consideration will be given to individuals that have previous DHS system involvement as a client.).
- Flexibility in schedule
- Valid drivers license, vehicle, registration, and insurance are mandatory.
- Required to apply for Act 33/34 clearances (criminal and child abuse) as well as FBI clearance.
