Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Veterinary Technician Assistant(s) to assist our team in providing top-tier care to our patients. As a part of our team, you will play an essential role in ensuring a safe, clean, and stress-free environment for both our patients and their caretakers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Assist veterinarians and technicians during exams, procedures, and surgeries, providing hands-on support and care.
· Provide calm, compassionate care to patients using fear-free practices to reduce stress and ensure comfort.
· Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, educating them on their pet's health, treatment plans, and preventative care.
· Maintain accurate medical records, managing patient data efficiently through clinic software.
· Assist with the preparation, cleaning, and disinfection of exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment in adherence to established safety and sanitation protocols.
· Help manage inventory by receiving products, ensuring proper storage, and maintaining accurate records, including monitoring expiration dates.
· Ensure a clean, organized work environment throughout the clinic, supporting a safe and efficient workspace.
· Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism when interacting with clients, providing a positive experience for both animals and their owners.
· Perform basic reception duties, including checking clients in/out, scheduling appointments, coordinating surgeries, and processing payments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1 year of veterinary experience required
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Ability to work well within a team or independently.
- Calm, kind, and patient with both animals and people.
- Interest in learning and supporting our Fear-Free practices
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, and lift or carry up to 40 lbs when necessary.

- 10-hour or 8-hour shifts
- Day shift,
- Weekends
