What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer position at Auburn Alumni Association?
The McWhorter School of Building Science at Auburn University seeks applications for a non-tenure track Lecturer or Senior Lecturer position. This is a full time position with a two-year term and the possibility of a multi-year extension. The successful candidate will teach in the undergraduate construction curriculum and participate in service activities that support students in the School.
The individual in this position will be expected to be on campus during the academic year to:
Review of applications will begin February 1, 2025 and will continue until a suitable candidate is selected and recommended for appointment. The anticipated start date is August 1, 2025 or January 1, 2026, depending on the applicant’s availability.
The individual in this position will be expected to be on campus during the academic year to:
- teach students in accordance with the University mission
- collaborate with faculty and students in BSCI and other disciplines
- interact with construction industry organizations and individuals.
