We are looking for CNAs in the Weber / Davis Counties
As a CNA, you will be the heart of patient care, providing comfort and support in daily living. Your role is crucial in ensuring our patients' dignity and comfort, working closely with nurses and other hospice staff.
- Key Responsibilities :
- Follow treatment plans as directed by an RN or licensed therapist
- Perform diagnostic activities (vital signs, temperature, sample collection)
- Assist with personal hygiene and daily living activities
- Support patients during meals and document intake as needed
- Assist with specialized duties delegated by registered nurses or therapists
- Help with toileting and catheter changes
- Assist with patient mobility and use of special equipment
- Change dry dressings under RN instructions
- Ensure client safety and comfort measures are in place
- Provide social interaction and reassurance to patients and families
- Document visits in compliance with the CNA Plan of Care
- Protect client rights and confidentiality
- Adhere to OSHA guidelines, especially "Standard Precautions"
- Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant certification required; 1 year of experience preferred
- CPR certification
- A genuine desire to care for the elderly and chronically ill
- Ability to treat clients and their possessions with dignity and respect
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Schedule flexibility and willingness to travel locally
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
