Duties
- Plan and create innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of food preparation.
- Manage inventory effectively, including ordering supplies, tracking stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Oversee food production processes to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
- Coordinate banquet services and special events, collaborating with front-of-house staff and volunteers to deliver seamless dining experiences.
- Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and kitchen equipment usage.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area at all times.
