Position Overview:
Auburn Gymnastics Academy is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Part-Time Receptionist to join our front office team. As the first point of contact for families and visitors, this role plays a vital part in creating a warm, professional environment while ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in person and over the phone with professionalism and courtesy
- Answer phone calls, return voicemails, and direct inquiries to the appropriate staff or department
- Use iClassPro software to enroll, transfer, and withdraw students from classes and programs
- Provide clear communication with parents regarding class placement, scheduling, and general inquiries
- Collaborate with directors and coaches to ensure accurate student placement based on skill level and program needs
- Maintain accurate records and update customer accounts as needed
- Perform light clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, organizing paperwork, and managing email communications
- Support a clean and organized front desk and lobby area
- Deliver outstanding customer service and help reinforce AGA’s culture of positivity, safety, and professionalism
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, welcoming, and patient demeanor
- Previous experience in customer service or clerical work preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with iClassPro or similar class management software a plus
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
