Duties and Responsibilities :
The Department of Advanced Technologies at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated data scientist to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing data-driven solutions to complex business problems, as well as developing and maintaining machine learning models to improve decision-making processes. The candidate selected will :
- Develop and implement data-driven solutions to complex business problems
- Design and implement machine learning models to improve decision-making processes
- Analyze and interpret large, complex data sets to identify trends and patterns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions
- Communicate findings and insights to stakeholders through clear and concise reports and presentations
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and techniques in data science and machine learning
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Minimum Qualifications :
A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics
