Duties and Responsibilities :
Auburn University at Montgomery is accepting applications for an Electrician. This position will report directly to the Electrician Supervisor and will provide technical knowledge and support related to electrical maintenance and repair for campus facilities. Under close supervision, provides basic level skills and expertise regarding a wide array of building electrical systems and their associated components to accomplish maintenance, repair, and installation tasks.
Primary responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following :
- Perform work with electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures on campus ensuring all repairs and maintenance is performed timely and correctly to provide safe and comfortable spaces on campus.
- Assist with electrical contractors and special projects as needed.
- Performs electrical repairs and installs in campus buildings and may be required to serve on an on-call status for emergencies.
