Look no further - we have the job for you! Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking applicants for a TES Inpatient Vet Assistant to work in the Intermediate Care ( IMC ), Intensive Care Unit ( ICU ), and Emergency Room (ER) section of our Bailey Small Animal Teaching Hospital . The individual in this position will work directly with board-certified emergency and critical care veterinarians and rotating intern doctors to help facilitate qualify care and patient flow through the IMC , ICU , and ER.
This position is primarily for overnights or second shift. The scheduled hours for this position can be flexible based on the selected candidate's availability with the potential option to work 10-hour or 13-hour shifts based on preference. Preferred hours can be discussed during interview.
Temporary Employment Services ( TES ), a unit of the Auburn University Department of Human Resources, is an in-house support center established to meet the temporary employment needs of the university. TES provides qualified and dedicated temporary employees in a wide variety of occupations to meet the staffing needs throughout the campus. Temporary employees are hired for a variety of reasons with the most common being :

- Additional assistance during periods of abnormal or peak workloads

Salary Range
Minimum of $14.50 / hour shift differentials
Work Hours
Primarily overnights (between the hours of 7 : 00p.m. - 8 : 00a.m.) OR second shift (between the hours of 1 : 00p.m.- 2 : 00a.m.) with possibility of rotating shifts. Scheduled hours and shift lengths are flexible based on candidate's preference.
