Position Overview : As an Estimator at AUCH Construction, you will play a critical role in our preconstruction services team. You will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for various construction projects, from the initial schematic design phase through to post-bid analysis. Your expertise will help ensure that our projects are competitively priced and financially viable. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and suppliers to gather necessary information, analyze costs, and provide detailed reports that will guide project decisions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for the construction industry
Core Responsibilities :
- Prepare Schematic Estimates
- Provide accurate and timely schematic estimates to assist in the early stages of project development.
- Prepare Design Development Estimates
- Develop detailed design development estimates with a focus on accuracy and quick turnaround times.
- Prepare Value Analysis Reports
- Generate comprehensive value analysis reports within a two-day turnaround of each estimate, ensuring project cost-effectiveness and value.
- Post Bid Analysis
- Conduct thorough post-bid analysis, aiming for an estimate-to-bid accuracy within 5%.
- Gather Updates for Material Pricing
- Database update of material pricing on a quarterly basis to reflect current market conditions.
