About The Role
2025 Auctane Summer Internship Program
Applicants must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university
Interviews: On a rolling basis through March, 2025
First Day of Onsite Orientation: June 3, 2025
Last day of the Internship Program: August 7, 2025
This is a paid internship.
Ability to work 40 hours per week (except for the week of July 4th)
Position is hybrid in Austin, TX (Monday & Friday remotely & Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in-office)
This is a 9 week internship role within the Accounting department.

About The Role

This is a 9 week internship role within the Accounting department.
What will you be doing?
- Assist in preparing and posting journal entries
- Help with calculations for journal entries and accruals
- Assist with monthly closings and preparation of monthly financial statements
- Help reconcile and maintain balance sheet accounts
- Prepare analysis of accounts as requested
- Perform financial review and analysis of P&L accounts
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Help research accounting pronouncements
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- An individual who is working towards their accounting degree who wants to apply their knowledge and skills learned in the classroom to real world scenarios that accountants
- Located in or near the Austin, Texas area
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
