About the role
The sustainability and health of our applications, systems and tooling is critical for our finance support efforts. The Anaplan Architect role will play a key role to enable our vision to become a digital and data driven organization with transparent financial management and analytical support for decision making.
This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas.
About the team
Auctane's Finance team is responsible for driving key strategic initiatives, generating insights into business performance, and leading financial decisions across the Company. We partner with Senior Management and business unit leaders by providing effective decision-making support to drive long-term business performance.
We are looking for an Anaplan Model Builder / Solutions Architect to be a driving force of change with strong analytical problem solving skills and expertise in working with data and logical structures. This role will streamline our process to support our predictability and business performance reporting. A collaborative team player with proactive communication and attention to detail are key requirements for this position.
What will you be doing?
- Build, own and maintain the Anaplan Data Hub, Finance, and Revenue models as well as all associated lists, modules, actions, dashboards, and other model settings.
- Design, build, test, and deploy new features to existing Anaplan models using best practices that ensure data integrity, efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build, implement, train and support our financial models in Anaplan related but not limited to budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Develop proof of concepts to address reporting requirements to improve business operations and visibility to performance metrics
- Work closely with stakeholders across BI, Accounting and FP&A to manage upstream and downstream data flows and integration dependencies
- Be the in-house Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Anaplan, staying up to date with latest features and championing best practices in model building and support for our financial models
