About The Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Public Relations Specialist to execute PR strategies as a member of the Communications team. This role requires strong project and time management skills, the ability to collaborate with agencies, and a keen eye for tracking and reporting on PR results. You will play a critical role in coordinating executive spokesperson engagements, ensuring consistent messaging, and supporting media relations efforts.
This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas.
What will you be doing?
- Execute PR strategies and campaigns in alignment with company goals.
- Manage relationships with external PR agencies to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
- Track, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Coordinate and schedule media opportunities for executive spokespeople, including interviews, press briefings, and speaking engagements.
- Assist in drafting and editing press releases, media statements, and other external communications.
- Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor PR activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Support crisis communication efforts as needed, ensuring timely and effective responses.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align messaging and support cross-functional PR efforts.
