About The Role
The Director, Demand Generation will lead the creation and execution of demand generation strategies to support Auctane's go-to-market initiatives for our API products. This role requires a leader who can define the approach, orchestrate cross-functional efforts, and execute cohesive campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue growth.
As the owner of demand generation at Auctane, you will partner closely with content, performance marketing, events, and product marketing to execute, demand generation campaigns, account-based experiences (ABX) and strategies that align with the GTM plan.
You will lead a small team, build scalable processes, and establish a unified demand generation framework to drive pipeline growth and increase velocity.
This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) and is located in Austin, Texas.

About The Role

What will you be doing?
- Strategy Development: Build and own the demand generation framework, including planning, execution, and optimization of campaigns for B2B products.
- ABX and Campaign Orchestration: Create and execute targeted ABX and demand generation campaigns to engage prospects, partners, and accounts through personalized and impactful marketing.
- Pipeline and Velocity Focus: Design strategies that not only drive new leads but also nurture existing opportunities to speed up sales cycles.
- Collaborative Execution: Partner with cross-functional teams to align content, events, product marketing, and performance marketing efforts into cohesive campaigns.
- Team Leadership: Develop and mentor a small but effective team, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
- Performance Reporting: Define and report on key metrics for pipeline growth, conversion, and velocity to measure the success of demand generation efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8 years of experience in demand generation or a related role, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
- Experience designing and executing demand gen and account-based marketing strategies.
- Proficiency with 6Sense, HubSpot, and Salesforce for campaign execution and reporting.
- Proven ability to drive pipeline growth and accelerate pipeline velocity.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience building and managing small, effective teams.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills to influence cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, or technology platforms is a plus.
- Possesses a "go-getter" mindset: driven, resourceful, and willing to put in the effort to achieve goals with a proactive and hands-on approach
- Proven success in optimizing demand generation campaigns to deliver measurable ROI.
- Deep understanding of tools like 6Sense and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience aligning demand generation efforts with cross-functional GTM strategies for B2B products.
