Overview
1010 WINS is looking for high-energy communicators with strong writing and storytelling skills to help engage a new generation of news consumers. If you understand that compelling writing, great storytelling, and creative use of sound make for a great news product and a great listening experience, then we want to hear from you. This is a part-time AFTRA hourly rate position.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do :
- Candidates must demonstrate strong news judgment and understand the powerful voice and responsibilities of our brands.
- We are looking for an idea-generating journalist with a positive attitude and standout work ethic.
- Candidates must demonstrate the ability to collaborate on story ideas and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Candidates must be detail-oriented and cool under the pressure of meeting tight deadlines.
- Experience in the New York Metropolitan area is a plus.
- Must be willing to work a schedule that will include holidays, nights, overnights, and / or weekends.

Pay Transparency :
The anticipated starting salary range for New York based individuals expressing interest in this position is $52.66 / hr.
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.
