1080 The FAN and ESPN 910AM Portland, are looking for an outstanding Brand Manager to lead our content strategy across multiple platforms. Audacy Portland seeks a visionary leader to shape the future of sports media in our vibrant city.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Content Oversight: Oversee the development and execution of content for KFXX-AM, KMTT-AM and associated platforms, ensuring high-quality production and alignment with our brand’s vision.
- Talent Development: Utilize your extensive experience to mentor and elevate our on-air talent, helping them achieve peak performance.
- Innovative Content Creation: Craft and implement strategies for content that resonates across both broadcast and digital mediums.
- Multimedia Expertise: Apply your skills in audio, video, social media, and live events to enhance our content and engagement.
- Collaborative Approach: Work closely with Operations Manager, sales and client teams to drive revenue, while maintaining the integrity and quality of our content.
- Brand Protection: Ensure adherence to company standards and FCC regulations, safeguarding the 1080 The FAN and ESPN 910AM brands.
- Industry Relationships: Leverage your sports industry connections to benefit our network and enhance our market presence.
Qualifications

Required & Preferred:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
- Experience: Minimum of four (4) years managing a major sports media property with a strong digital presence preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Business Savvy: Expertise in negotiating contracts for play-by-play and high-profile talent.
- Balanced Skill Set: A mix of creative vision and business acumen.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of both the local and national sports media landscape.
- Passion for Sports: Genuine enthusiasm for sports, with a focus on Portland sports.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required, with proof of insurance if using a personal vehicle for job duties.
