The anticipated starting salary range for Chicago I.L. based individuals expressing interest in this position is $25.5300/Hr.
Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and location of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity.

Overview:
B96/Chicago is looking for a dynamic and fun addition to our part-time on-air team. We want entertaining! Do you embrace connecting with your audience everywhere- over the air, social platforms, out in the community, at station events, and video channels or podcasts? Are you amazing at socials and love being out on the streets? Do you have a love for pop music? B96 could be a brand for you!
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Create original content and perform live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative
- Participate and create original content for all social media platforms; manage online personality presence
- Protect the station’s FCC license
- Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
- Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
- Operate the control board and perform production work
- Make personal appearances at station events and remote broadcasts.
- Other duties as required by management.
Qualifications
More About You:
Required & Preferred:
- Must be an excellent communicator with strong creative skills; must have solid production skills and a strong working knowledge of studio audio equipment necessary for on-air and production execution, including on-air digital systems such as Audio Vault, Wide Orbit, VoxPro, and Adobe Audition.
- Knowledge of the format and audience required.
- Familiar with FCC guidelines
- Excellent on-air voice with a demonstrated track record required in media
- Minimum 3 years radio experience
- Must be a member of the SAG AFTRA Union
