Audacy Miami is seeking a dynamic, skilled live mixshow DJ with a natural, relatable personality to join Power 96 (WPOW-FM 96.5 FM). The ideal candidate will excel at performing live radio mixshows that adhere to the stations music strategy while creating engaging and relevant content for both on-air and social media platforms. - Responsibilities
- What You'll Do :
- Create original content and performing live broadcasts that are entertaining and informative.
- Perform live mixshows that align with the stations music strategy.
- Protect the stations FCC license
- Monitor the music and commercial logs for the airshift
- Ensure that promotions and contests are executed properly
- Operate the control board and perform production work
- Collaborate with the Brand Manager and other team members on format execution and developing unique content for on-air and social media.
- Other duties as required by management
- Qualifications
- Required & Preferred :
- Experience :
- 3 years as a live mixshow DJ, with the ability to perform live and pre-recorded content using radio edits that comply with FCC and company guidelines, particularly regarding profanity and indecent content.
- Music Knowledge :
- On-air experience in contemporary music formats.
- Technical Skills :
- Proficiency with DJ software such as Serato DJ Pro, Virtual DJ Pro, and Pioneer DJ equipment (e.g., DJM-900NXS2 and PLX-1000 turntables).
- Software Proficiency :
- Experience with Wide Orbit Automation System, Adobe Audition, and Vox Pro.
