Since its founding in 2000, Audax Private Debt has partnered with leading private equity firms to help finance their purchase of middle market companies. We provide senior loans, unitranche loans and junior capital in addition to equity co-investments. POSITION SUMMARY :
Associate - Portfolio Management
Opportunity to join a new team within Audax Private Debt focused on managing the firm's portfolio of unitranche and mezzanine investments. You would work as part of a small, specialized group within the investment team responsible for post-closing portfolio company activity including - acquisitions, incremental facilities, amendments and restructurings, and assist with portfolio management processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Underwriting of portfolio company add-on investments :
- Analysis of company performance since closing, investment merits and risks of the acquisition target, cash flows, organic vs. inorganic growth, coverage ratios, etc.
- Construction of LBO and equity co-investment return models
Amendment and restructuring analysis :
Portfolio management initiatives :
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience with workouts / restructurings is a plus
For New York City only : The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
