POSITION SUMMARY :

Audax is looking for a Technical Writer Co-op to assist with the production, coordination, and execution of Technical internal publications of departments polices & procedures for Audax Support Department(s).

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Creates, writes, and revises instructions, department policies and procedures booklets, and training materials.Collaborate with internal team members and end users to identify, define, and learn about internal business processes / workflows.

Departments include, but are not limited to :

Finance / Tax / Treasury / Co-InvestBusiness DevelopmentInvestor RelationsITHuman ResourcesLegal & ComplianceAdministration

Participates in weekly and ad-hoc meetings with Business Solutions and other Support Department teams.Research different solutions for capturing processes from department individuals.Presents new innovative approaches to improve tech writing process to best perform task(s) of the department.

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS :

Currently enrolled in a BS / BA and / or MS program, majoring in Computer Science / Finance / Accounting / English or related field.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent writing and grammatical skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to present complex data / workflows in clear, concise text.Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.Ability to edit and proofread work of colleagues.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, Visio a plusAbility to quickly learn new technical concepts / tools as needed and share knowledge with power users to enable independent operation and productivity.

Location : Boston, MA. This position is in the office 3 days / week. These in-office requirements may be adjusted based on the needs of the business.

Hours : 40 hours / week

Date : January 2025 - June 2025
